Since both of these or off project cars I just used some pieces of drive ( sheetmetal ductwork connectors) . Made some crude shallow "s" shaped things hooked them behind the latch assembley brace on the hood then on the bottom lip on the "c" channel.

The hoods are so light they are not going to fall .

Had a 67 2 door so real familiar with that nose.

Knew it had to be something along that line . Good eye you got there .
