It will look nice.
Find the stud center, drill a 1/8" pilot hole and then screw in a hanger like this. Bend it as you need to so the hood can hang from the secondary latch bar, or run a piece of aircraft cable through it like I did. Hood's not that heavy. Should be good to go.
