Has anyone used Royal Purple motor oil ? I checked out their website and was looking for a testimonial.

Alex Desenko (sp?) "Moneymaker" on the mustangs and more site swears by it for his
race cars.

Royal Purple and Mobil 1 synthetic are all that go into the crankcase in my family's 6 vehicles, which include 3 Mustangs.

It's excellent oil, and for the money, the only thing equivalent is Mobil 1.

I love Roayal Purple. Acutally I just changed my oil about two weeks ago. The place I buy it from here locally sells it for the same price I can get Mobil 1 or Castrol for.

And yes Moneymaker does love his oil also.

The same test (I think) is also in the latest HOT ROD magazine. They took this guys stroker smallblock Ford (fairlane?) and like the other poster said, added to crankcase, trans, and rear, and freed up a nice chunk of power. Pretty informative article, too. I want to put it in mine once I get the oil burn taken care of.
