So I'm disassembling the donor carbs for the home-brew tripower. 2 carb fires. One has even melted the bottom of the discharge ring. The other has a crack all the way up one of the pick up tubes. Good thing I have more carbs!
Observation: The cast part of the discharge ring (the removable venturiis) are all the same physical size so far. It's the pick up tube configuration that makes a particular calibration. I may have to mess with this... :D

Autolite 2100's. I've seen carb fire damage before, but not to this extent. These bad boys got baked! Someone did a good job of cleaning their outsides though. Now I am going to bring a flat blade screwdriver with me to the next rust fest at Charlotte and thoroughly inspect and future candidates (with owner's permission of course)
