What's the best way to repair a headlight bucket on a '69, if possible? The "flange" in the front has some broken pieces out of it, but the rest of the bucket looks good. I'd post pictures, but won't have the car home 'till next week.

Also, has anyone ever had any success filling the body line between the headlight bucket and the fender without it cracking?

Thanks for the help,
Mace

The bucket probably casted so I don't know how you could afix the broken pieces and have it hold up.

Others have reported success by using epoxies such as JB Weld. I wouldn't blend the headlight bucket onto the fender.... you're just asking for problems by doing this.

Mustang Monthly Oct 2007 has an article about repairing 65-66 buckets. They used a kit from California Pony Cars. It was $40. They might have something for the 69.
