Hi All

I installed a headliner in my 65 coupe on the weeekend and I've managed to get it binder cliped in with no wrinkles :)

I started to glue it last night and I'm using 3m contact cement. I started in the middle on the front windshield and only got the front done as it seems to take hours for the cement to dry and it really doesn't hold all that well.

Is there a better adhesive to use or should I stick with the contact cement doing a small section each night?

Thanks
Sue

The 3m spray adhesive has worked great for me. Did you spray it on the HL and the pinch weld, then let it set-up for about 10-15 min., before sticking the HL to the pinch weld. The glue has to be 'dry' (tacky) for it adhere 'on-contact'.

3M Super Trim adhesive is the BOMB! Comes in Black and Yellow.

Many folks refer to it as Gorilla Snot ;)
