good article in Mustangs and Fords in Sept issue. didn't realize complexity of which one fits where in such a simple case of 6-cyls with Autolite 1100 where '67s and later do not swap with '68s and up and the fact that starting procedures are different for 1100s vs other models. do know my '68 owner's manual states to hold gas pedal down 3/4 way for 6-cyl and not for 8 cyl - only depress pedal few times and release. did note on my 6-cyl the choke flapper opens 3/4 or so before key on and if gas pedal is depressed 3/4 it closes down to about 3/8 in or so and then starts immediately at all temperature from 5 to 90 degrees I have tried it.
