I plan to rig - I mean fabricate - a rear window defroster for my fastback before cold weather hits. I was given a link to a site that sells basically a blower box made just for such an application. My plan is to mount it in the trunk, and cut a few thin slits in the fiberglass panel just below my rear window. It should blow up through them and clear things up.

My question is, how much heat can the fiberglass handle? Is there any way this thing could melt something back there?
