Ok, I have a 67 Vert. The rear window zipper broke and the PO was "creative" in re-attaching it. I removed his fix (and have tried to repair the damage).

But I cannot get the zippers to meet. There is about a 2 inch gap. What shrunk? the window? the top?

The top and the window are in "ok" condition, and not a high priority in getting the car street worthy at this point, so I do not want to run out and replace the top just yet.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this without ripping/breaking anything (any worse)?

Is the gap at the top, or on the sides? Those things are really tight, and you should have to partially raise the top to get it zipped up. It will stretch when you warp the top down and latch it in the front. Not sure if this addresses your problem or not. Good Luck!
