ok i got the alternator problem fixed , thank you to the guys who helped. now there is a new problem........ i completely rebuilt the whole engine , but i have been having problems with overheating , any suggestions?? thanks

What all did you do to the motor? Adding horsepower, also adds heat.

Are you running a fan shroud? If not, adding one will help get more air through the radiator.

Did you have the radiator cleaned? Or a is it a new radiator?

That's just a couple of things to ponder......

Hi - A common problem associated with over heating is the head gasket installed backwards. Not much fun to go back and check but may be necessary

1966 Coupe - GT - 4 speed

thanks for the help, it's the old3 row radiator, any recommendation of a place to get a new one , maybe a 4 row ??
