Cold enough for ya? Is there anyone out there? Man oh man this forum is quiet these days.

I bought a Lecarra steering wheel over the winter, can't wait to install it this spring. Anyone else get anything purchased or accomplished over the winter?

I'm here... and it's been too damn cold to turn on the heat and work by the time I get home at night!

I haven't accomplished much this winter except I got my rear frame rails finally welded in, put my axle in (temporarily) and bought a ton of parts. I've collected nearly all the main parts and sheet metal that I need aside from one quarter panel, trunk lid/end caps and whatever seats I decide to go with.

When your car is ready, or if you just want to come out, you should come to our Stratford cruise night Tuesdays starting the end of May. It's at the mall.

I'll definitely check it out, but I'll have to park my Mazda out back. lol It'll be a few years yet before this car will make it, but I'll be sure to check it out this summer. I'm only about 40 minutes away!

There's a guy in Strathroy that has a whole collection of parts, if you need stuff you should look him up on kijiji.ca.

Two weeks ago I lowered my seat pans in the 67 because my new TMI Sport R made my head just touch the headlinder and I'm only 5' 7"

Other than that, my huge build thread last winter was all of it :)

LOL,

I doesn't makes sense. 67 = bigger car but smaller ****pit. 65= smaller car and very spacious ****pit. I would still trade for a 67 FB any day though.

I made some adjustable strut rods and installed those.

Installed Fiero seats.

I went to change all my brake pads (you know, after 800 miles, it was time for a switch) and realized the 800 mile rear caliper was leaking, so replaced both of those.

Went to change the clutch because I found a ford racing HD clutch in there, which explains why the pedal is soooo stiff, so ended up dismantling the T5, replacing yoke, yadda yadda.. Terrible idea. Not done yet!

At this stage in my life I prefer to work on the car with the garage doors open when the temperature is about 22C and the birds are tweeting.

Nothing to report except I have gathered parts for electric power steering install.

I will likely turn the heat on and get to it next month.

I've been the big slacker eh?

Why did you asteriks that? Are you implying I did not? :D

I took my originals, and lopped them off.. then threaded them to... I think 3/4 x something.. I'd have to check.

Bought some threaded steel sleeves that thread onto that side of the strut rod. Other side of the threaded steel received 3/4" shafted rod ends, with a 5/8 end/hole.

5/8 hole drilled through the strut rod support, with a bit of reinforcement (Thick washers, drilled out to be exactly .625) welded to each side of the support.

Bought a new billet front accessory drive, air cleaner, fuel lines from carb to pump, plug wire loom. Accomplished, nothing. Hoping that will change this weekend.
