Hi all,
Going to look at a 69 mach "SCJ (drag pack)" 44K mile (stored for 18 years) survivor. Need help - did any scj's come without a shaker? I'll check for answers in a couple hours. I'll post the results of the inspection after.

SCJs could come either with a shaker or without. It's a common myth that all SCJs were equipped with ram air, and should thus have an "R" in the fifth position of the VIN.

OK. Pulled out my data book (after the post) and found the R and Q classifications. This was a Q (flapper worked!). Eveything was there except oil cooler (no suprise) and car was very complete (wrong carb/no smog pump plumbing there though) Even door pull cups were intact. Mild rust (apron tops/seams rear qp bottoms and front rails) but overall was nice for ohio car. Now time to be patient and hope for a deal!!
