After doing a search on the forum for heater box removal, I've gotten this far. Right side, pasenger, is loose. Cannot get driver side loose. The retaining studs were all on the right side, one kinda of in the middle. Can't see any on driver's side looking at firewall. This is a 67 FB, 289. Thanks for any suggestions!

If you are sure you got it loose from firewall , it is hung up on drain hose..located high up on the passenger side of trans hump. Check for it. Also , take a little effort to get it to dienged from the blower. Figure you got the firewall plates off from around the the heratercoare hoses and evap. core. Are you hanging up on the expansion valve which is on motor side of firewall??
