After I install my new Street or Track spindles I'm going to need a new set of wheels to fit 275/35/18 200 treadwear tires for autocross. The good 200TW tires are quickly disappearing in the 275/40/17 size so I'm going have to go full hoopty with 18's. The wheels have to be 9.5" wide and really really close to a 6.25" back space or 25mm offset. I'm open to other suggestions in that size with that backspace with a $400 per wheel price cap. I'd really like to run steelies and make them look vintage but they all have the dual bolt pattern and that kills it for me. No spacers! Most of the wheels I see rolling away from cars at events involve a spacer. I'm open to suggestions If you actually read this whole post. The car is Prairie Bronze and will remain so at least until it's finished whatever that means?

#3, they’ll make your eyes really pop when you pose next to them…
Actually 3 and 6 would probably be tough to get this season due to "supply chain issues"and I'm really not thrilled with any of the choices, but it is just a race car.

What’s wrong with the wheel style you have?
I think the wheel style I have is perfect and over $800 each with custom backspacing.

Whatever I did, I would get something that contrasts in color to your car. If you don’t, it will look like you tried to match them and failed.
I agree.
I personally just don’t think non-lipped wheels look good on our cars.
I agree

I voted for the hypergrams, considered getting a set of those for my 66.
I think they would be nice in the grey,

Stockton Wheel

They'll make you any steely configuration that still accepts a poverty cap.......Had them make lots of wheels over the years the latest being 15 x 10's rear for my son's 66 coupe with a 3" narrowed Curry 9 inch and mini tubs. 295/50's for street and 275/60 Hoosiers for the track fit nicely and it maintains the NOT RESTOMOD look..............My favorite wheels are steel with little round caps...

Any weight difference? I'm likely getting the ET-III myself but they are more expensive. Maybe I'll follow your lead on this too if I like it :)

Steel wheels can be had for probably half of the price of those other wheels. I prefer the way they were... look. I know its not the custom look, View attachment 878864
but rather back in the day look!
I want the back in the day look but can't find it in 18x9.5 so I can run modern day competitive autocross tires.

I vote number one because:

1. I love the look of gray against your cars color with your current wheels

2.They have a lip

3. They are not dark/black like every single wheel that’s out there, or what people have their wheels powderer coated…it’s played out imo. :) The lighter color shows definition.

There’s my opinion

I went with #5 since they’re a similar style to mine. I love bronze wheels but my concern with a bronze wheel on a bronze car is that there’s not enough contrast. I may be wrong but I’m sure you’ve googled bronze wheels on bronze cars.
