it would be a great convenience to get my backlite out about now so I need a little guidence. the guy who restored this car in the 80 used a boot to get it in. so I am at a loss on how to get it out in one piece. it is savable glass so if at all possible I want it nice when it comes out. its raining right now so Ill get some pics if need be when it quits.

Thanks in advance yall,

The rear glass on a '69 is the same as all the previous years (front is very different). Just remove the chrome trim, then take a sharp razor blade and cut the seal on the top, all the way around, right at the edge of the glass. Then just lift the glass out. After that, you can easily remove the remainder of the seal and just use a new seal when putting the glass back in.

Thx for the info John - I'm pulling the back glass out of Lolita too, to replace the rear quarters.
