Is it possible to replace the spline shaft seal without disturbing critical ring/pinion alignments?
If so is it just a matter of removing the spline nut and the spline and then removing and re-installing the seal?
If you're just replacing the seal, no need to worry about the 175 ftlbs torque. Once the crush sleeve is crushed, it can't be crushed properly again. If you try crushing it somemore, it will change the settings on the ring/pinion. Change the seal, install a new pinion nut and run the nut down tight with an impact.
