Well,
My engine not turning problem must be the starter, It's stuck in there and I can't get it out.
I've allready broke one ear off trying to pry it out. Any other tricks, I tried rocking the car back
and forth in gear to get the starter to disengage. Maybe the sawsall? EERRRR

Ya tried a rubber mallet?

66 Coupe, 302, Auto, 3.25 gears. Candyapple Red with White Pearl Stripes. Cragars.

I tried the rubber mallet, the block of wood with a bigger mallet, a block of wood with a jack pushing up on
it. Maybe I should just rebuilt the starter were it is. *G* I have the bolts out.....

I saw somewhere tonight on here about someone backing the engine up a bit using the crankshaft bolt.

I tried bumping the engine over going forward with trans in reverse, It's really wedged in there! I wonder
how my new flywheels is going to look when i get the starter out? The flywheel was balanced with the
rotating assembly, i guess i have them match the balance if i need a new one!

I'd try like Cruzer suggested, use a breaker bar on the crank and try working it back and forth. easy....

I'll give the breaker bar a try when I go back home, i had to go back to work.
