Talk about a smooth description, I like where he says something like the stripes are a K code identifier. You think if someone spent $35,000 on a restoration, they would at lest buy the right shifter knob and door lock knobs? I never new K codes came from the factory with blue distributor caps and heater hoses, those wires look a little out of place, then again so do I even looking at this car, way out of my ballpark.

For a resto like they're talking about, they missed a few details, I didn't know that the underside was painted the same as the car color.
Radio dash repair coming up??, Black Pumpkin

Speaking of classifieds, I was looking on another site last night and people are still posting want ads wanting to find '67 GT500's for $2000 so they can make their Gone in 60 Seconds clone. Give it up people...

35K and they couldn't get the gas cap straight?
Very nice car, nice!
I hope I never list a Mustang on eBay, I could not stand the VMFers picking it apart.

This car must be very rare as it was built the same day as my 1967 fastback!!!!!! Can you imagine how difficult it would have been to put a 66 together in the middle of the 67 production run????

Looking at the date code of 12L, wouldn't that be Nov 12th of '65?

Yes it would, however, the seller represents the car as having been built on November 12, 1966, thus my comment!!

The car can be corrected and is undoubtedly someone's dream. Not unlike some of us here.

On the other hand, the guy posting the car on eBay sounds just like what most of us expect from a car salesmen, making things up as they go based upon half-truths.

Oh well!

The underbody of all 66's are supposed to be a lead based red oxide paint. I just redid mine, and it just happens to look just like emberglo.

If you look close, the pumpkin is the same red oxide. Again, correct.

I don't get it. I saw that car earlier on ebay, and was quite impressed. The underbody is correct, the body is gorgeous and straight, and it has GT options, and a K in the vin.

What more do you want?
