Some light weight VMF Jackets to go along with those great looking T-Shirts. It seems now might be a good time to get a good price on jackets with summer coming on. After checking out some of the jackets in the Ford Catalog, I would probably rather spend my money on an Original VMF Jacket. I figure light weight jackets would be pretty versatile for cool evenings and car shows in the Fall/Winter months.

Of course this has nothing to do with the Sushi Run that is being planned in California. *LOL*

Jackets sound nice especially for us convertible guys. I would like to suggest a VMF license plate frame. I would also like a window sticker for the back window like the colleges have.

I'll look into how much jackets would run us. I think it'd be cool.

I will also look into license plate holders as I like that idea alot. Be neat to identify a VMF car right away.

If they make static stickers, like the college ones, that would be nifty too.

The trick is I'd probably have to nearly everything as a 'pre-order' as I wouldn't be able to afford like I'm doin with the T-shirts where I fronted the money. So, we'd have to put up a place to order and when we got to a certain number I'd place the order (not very many, just enough to get a decent price), so those ordering first might not have the items immediately...

Have to figure out if that would cause anyone problems.

I think these are cool ideas though.

Sounds good to me! I'm sure when you figure out how many jackets are needed for the first order, we could draw enough interest and pre-orders to get the ball rolling.

Looking forward to see what you come up with! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I'll go for a jacket. It's a great idea. But it needs to be zip-up, not pull-over.

I like all the ideas. The sticker idea is gr8 too. Maybe a smaller one like the one MCA makes? Tho if it is static cling any size would work since you can just peel it off when needed.

What hoops will I have to jump through to get a jacket.?
Have you seen the stuff I've got to provide to get the Tshirts. Copy of passport , copy of both sides of credit card , birth cert.*G*
To get a jacket, they will want my first born and a DNA test!!!*G*

If in doubt give it a clout
If at first you don't succeed , find a bigger hammer

Hey John!

It might be cheaper and easier just to move to the states!!! *LOL* What you need is a buddy here in the states to send everything you purchase in the states, and have them box it all up to save on shipping and send it all to you once or twice a year. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Good grief, I feel for you /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

All my zippered jackets have flaps that cover the zipper, so it's not a problem. But you're right, exposed zippers around show cars= bad idea.
