I put in the new intake, no spacer. I took great care in putting in the new gaskets on the intake. It did nothing, still running 8lbs vacuum.
What else could possible cause such a loss of Vacuum?
the timing is still right on.
Could it be something major??????

Ok, This is where I stand right now.
When I pull a vac line the rpm's go up, That tells me to rich, So I leaned out the Road Demon. Got the Vacuum up to 10. But it still runs rough, The next thing I will do, Is start pulling spark plugs tomorrow and see if some gasket Material that I may have missed made its way into a spark plug, and making it miss. Does this sound right????? Maybe?

Is this a new intake? Many years ago I ran into a problem with an intake that was shaved to match a set of heads that were shaved to raise compression. When I installed the intake on MY heads, the intake did not seal well against the heads. Car would not idle due to lack of vacumn. Just a thought.
