I posted this yesterday, but just got replies mostly from dreamer's (LOL)! I need to know if anyone knows anything about the valve covers shown below. One poster yesterday had some useful info, but I'm hoping for more. If you know
ANYTHING about them, Paleez share!

Anyone know what these are?

I think your right it looks to be a 65 Ford Mustang Fastback Original Prairie Bronze paint, Palomino interior, A-code automatic. But I'm no expert. Maybe sombody else will have more Details

I know, sorry I'm board.
The car looks great by the way, I have never seen those covers before, The holes do seem to be backwards but it probably doesn't matter.

I believe this shot was taken of one side of the famous 16-cylinder Pony thumper engine. Dual overhead head, 48-valve, non-oil-filler-cap, Black Beauty. The actual engine, spark plugs and exhaust are difficult to make out in this view, but I would bet my doofus award they are in there, somewhere...

Don't give up, Jim. Somebody out there must have seen these at one time or another. I had a friend that machined his own valve covers for a 350 with a picture of his own car engraved in the top. Why he did it, I have no idea, it was a '56 chevy 4-door sedan, and ugly as sin... Sorry for making fun, I tried to be a wit, but I only made it half way...

I thought the answer you got the other day about the vintage aftermarket catalog listing would have satisfied your curiosity. It seems plausible to me. They DEFINITELY never came on a production Mustang, or else we'd all have seen them. They are obviously aluminum, aftermarket, no longer in production, in beautiful shape, rare, attractive, cool, small block Ford, 60's vintage, did I mention cool, Mustang valve covers. What more are you looking for?
