I bought a HiPO camshaft off Ebay, advertise as NOS Ford C3OZ-6250-C in the original Ford tube.

The cam is definitely new, and came in a Ford tube, but I'm not sure if it's truly a Ford product.

It does not have "VE" (V is an upside down A) next to the last bearing journal. There is no Ford Logo, no Ford casting/part number.

It does have "K 104" on it, with 2-pink paint dots on the end, a pink paint daub at one end, and an orange paint daub at the other end.

Here's some pics of the cam:

Is this a Ford unit, or some other make?

Thanks in advance.

ps: I asked the same question over at the HiPo Mustang eKschange, but got no definitive answers.

Hi,
Your part number would be correct for a 65-66 Hipo cam.I'm not sure what about the other marks.I can say in my own experiences I've never seen a Ford logo on a camshaft? Maybe the marks are different because it was a service replacement part?

I agree. It's the real deal. I used to look at NOS ones all the time at JBA way back when......
