Can any one that has their engine out on a 69, and 69 only, please take a etching rub so I can drill the hole for a clutch rod on my 69 Mach 1,in the correct place, bigblock?? Or, can someone tell me exactly where to put the factory hole & what size. TIA ken

I've done this on a 68 and a 70, so I sometimes get the two confused. Anyhow, your 69 would be the same as the 70 setup. Either you have a small dimple or the hole is perforated and simply need to be pushed out. The easiest way to find the hole is to mount the clutch pedal. Find the hole on the clutch pedal where the clutch rod hooks on. Follow and approximate horizontal plane from the hole in the clutch pedal to the firewall. At that point, you will find the dimple or the perforated hole.

jimk351c is correct. There should be a small dimple where the center of the hole goes. The dimple is pushed in to the cab, meaning you'll want to drill from the engine bay side. The dimple is rather small, so you have to look hard for it, especially if there's any muck or lots of paint on the firewall.

I can't tell you the corret size, as I drilled mine for a hydraulic clutch. Here's a couple pics, though, of when I was installing my clutch in my '69, which will show you were to be looking, at least. Click on them for larger versions:
