Holley Adjustment

587 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Cruzer
Got a Holley 600 with vac/secondaries. I need to adjust the float level on the front. Which way do I turn the adjuster nut to lower the float level? Clockwise or counter. When I remove the site plug gas comes out of the hole for a few seconds. It's flooding after it sits for awhile.

The nut, not the screw does the adj. on your holley. Loosen the large screw on the top
of the 5/8 nut, turn the nut clockwise to lower the fuel level. The fuel should not drip out
of the hole when the site plug is removed. You should be able to bump the car and have some
slosh out. If the car is hard starting, the fuel level is to high. Be carefull!!, don't set yourself
on fire!!. Good Luck!
Thanks! Both of you.
