Solved the high idle problem - replaced the gaskets on the carb.base.I have idle control again.thanks guys.

Good Job! Glad you found the problem. It would be a good idea to replace the idle adjustment screw now that the "real" problem has been determined.

A good lesson learned here. Always look at the "easy" fixes before getting western or buying a lot of unneeded parts.
