So I rebuilt my Holley 4005 carburetor the other day and I went to put it back in and I cannot get the car to idle so that I can set the floats wet. I set the floats dry at the specs Holley listed and still can't get a good idle. The car will run a little if I gas it (runs rough and smokes a bunch), but as soon as I come off of it, it just wants to shut off.I have a couple of videos showing it not wanting to start, can y'all tell me if I'm just missing something obvious?

Doesn't seem like a "no gas" situation.... exactly the opposite as it sounds like it stops firing altogether when you closed the choke (flooded). You say it smokes so it sounds like it is flooding for some reason.
