My car was and still is a red convertible, white interior, 200 six, auto trans. We (my 16 year old daughter and me) looked for 2 1/2 years. My daughter wanted one like this but I wanted a '67 or '68 fastback as it has more metal and safety items. Finally we decided to buy any in the early years if the price was right. just a few months later, I saw this in the trader and bought it. We are currently collecting a large pile of parts to do a complete job on it.

Cool. Obviously not the car I was thinking of. There was a red convertible here in town that a guy sold about that time. I looked at it myself. It was a VERY clean car (certainly cleaner than mine), but I passed on it because it was not an original V8 car. I'm not a stickler for authenticity (as you can see from my car), but there are a lot of differences between a 6 and an 8 and I did not feel qualified to judge if the car was up to snuff for the V8.

Anyway thanks for posting back.
