I'm doing my first and only restoration on my 66 Fastback but have run into a snag ... :wall:

How do I get the correct part for example, 355987-s8 Nut (2-Req.)listed in the Osborn Manual. I ordered all of AMK kits however some of the kits do not include all of the parts. I've also got a catalog from AMK but again there parts are not referenced in the AMK catalog nor are the sizes?

Thanks, in advance for all suggestions.

AMK sells a book which has all the fastener numbers from the Ford assembly manuals and a description of what it is. It's called the AMK Products Guide to Ford Fasteners 1955-73.

You might be able to order it through their website, or you might have to call them to get one. It's an invaluable reference.

Unfortunately you can find the fastener or part but head markings (bolts) differed from plant to plant - so to be correct you'll need not only to find the correct part number part but the correct markings (if your restoring the car)
