I am getting ready to install the pedals for my auto/5 speed swap and I may slice the one remaining rubber piece off and repaint first, how difficult are these to install? Do I boil the new ones and slip them on or something?

No need to boil, they should slip over fairly easily.

Yup, they just slide overtop. If you're feeling adventurous my girlfriend bought me some pedals from Autovation.. I haven't installed them yet but they should class up my pedals quite some!

So no tea made from pedal rubber....got it thanks.

Any recommendation on what pads I should use in a 65 that is going to have disk brakes? Should I get the ones with the silver circle in the brake pad?
