I know this is probably stupid and really easy but I can't remove my passenger vent window handle to replace with a new one.

It looks like a pin needs to be pulled or pushed out but the damn thing is wedged in tight. I have tried needle nose plyers.

Any suggestions?

You can use a small nail, but they make chisels with a pin head for driving them out. Nails usually bend if it's really tight, so you may use 2-3. It also helps, if you shot it with some WD40 and some one compress the handle a little to relieve the pressure from the underlying spring washer.

Just a small punch is all that is needed. If you use a nail make sure you gring the point off so that the end is flat. If you do not then the taper will tyr to spread the rollpin & make it more difficult.

Spraying the roll pin with penetrating oil will aid in it's removal too.
