tighten the antenna on an 1966 coupe.... first off, i was told this isn't the correct anntenna...It has a rubber cap that sit under a chrome nut. I can't get the nut fully tight, the antenna stays loose and falls over....thanks, L
The bottom part of the antenna that drops through the hole should have a part that rotates from the vertical position (to get through the hole) to a horizontal position. This is the part that pulls up against the fender when you tighten the top nut. Sounds like it is not in the correct position.
