How much fluid do I need to replace all of the old brake fluid? We're talking stock '66 coupe, 289, single system, all drums, no servo.

Thanks...

A quart should do, buy a spare just in case as you will have to run a fair amount thru to ensure you get all the old out.

I think I used one pint...but it has been a few years.

Just replaced mine the other day (single m/c, 4 drums) and it took just over 1/2 liter. Mark.
