Are 67/68 Big Block 4spd radiators? (the ones without the colling tank in the bottom) What are these things going for in good shape? Are they made of unobtainium?

From what I've found, the little metal tag wired to the tank (if correct) is worth more than the tank itself. A radiator without the tag will price comparable to any other used radiator. A "correct" radiator with a "correct" tag could get a couple hundred more.

It all depends on what radiator and where the cars where made. For example a C8ZE L1 is much harder to find than a C8ZE S1 (both 4 spd radiators) The L1 was typically used for 428 applications (Shelby & CJ) while the S1 was typically used w/390's although there is some crossover. If you had a Metuchen built 68 you would find FoMoCo on the top tank and part#/date code stamped on right rail (no wire tag) A San Jose car would typically have W MO on the top tank. if you had a Metuchen built car, like Shelby, a proper radiator C8ZE L1 with W MO on tank would not be appropriate And then theres the automatics.....

these are a really difficult part. For every 10 24 radiators I look at 1 is fomoco with the tag or stamped into the side strap.

Good luck
