Hi All: I just bought a /70 Mach1 and as I compile a list of things to do, one of them will be how to remove aftermarket but professionaly installed window tint. It's not scratched, very dark or in bad condition, I just don't like it. It may be a job for the pros, but if there is some chemical out there? Thanks a lot. Mark

I used a ton of razor blades and the hot sun to get mine off. I let the car sit outside in the sun for a couple of hours and started scraping with razors. Once I got a section started it came right off. It took me about two hours but it all came off nicely. Used glass cleaner and goo gone to take off some adheasive that was left behind.

It isn't that hard.

Sergio's suggestion to view the web site sounds like it will work also. Looks to me like a lot of work if you don't have rear window defrosters though.

FYI....."Goof Off" works wonders on the glue base once you get the film off...Good Luck!

I've also heard that a wallpaper steamer will do the trick.
