I upgraded my six cylinder mustang to a Ford performance 302 that is rated at 340 hp
I found out that with lots of weight in the car plus the air conditioning on that I got a 15.9 second quarter mile and 7.5 seconds 0 to 60 I鈥檓 very happy with the results

My wife isn鈥檛 so happy I did it.

Congrats. Was the rest of the drivetrain changed as well to handle the new found HP?

Must be a wife thing because mine hates everything I do to my vert. Her complaint is it's not original any more , like that bothers me but I just smile & keep on keeping on.

I still love this one...
Working under his Mustang, his wife stood above and nagged about the time and money he spent doing so.
"You're starting to sound like my first wife."
"I thought I WAS your first wife!!"
"You are."
Work continued.

Boy, once the rpms get above 2000 the car acts like a cheetah closing in for the kill!
Or in the words of Jay Leno..."It's like the hand of God pushing you in the back"
LOL...he was talking about what it felt like when he opened the throttle on his jet powered motorcycle.
