Hi all,
Some of you know a few months ago I moved from NY to Atlanta and sold my '68 GT Fastback to get a newer '00 Gt 'Vert. The new 'Vert is an awesome car but I miss the classics. I've also realized I can pretty much drive a classic everyday down here in the south!
My g/f wants a new Stang so I'm thinking of selling her my '00 GT and getting another classic, taking some money left over and paying off some debt. My g/f will also still have her '93 Honda so if I need another car for a day or 2 I'll have one available.
Here are some of the cars I'm looking into:
'68 GT J code pres. blue 'Vert...4spd, really nice shape, only thing that seems to be "wrong" on the car is the owner change out the parchment deluze interior to darker brown/saddle color...motor has 86K on it, rebuilt at 73K. Asking $15,500, would hope I could get it at least for $14K.
'67 highland green hardtop, black vinyl top, orig. 289 car now has 302, was deluxe interior car, sellers son took it out and put standard interior back in, still has floor console, has cold factory AC, added GT SS wheels and dual exhaust with correct Gt rear panel, automatic, asking $8K, would hope to be able to get for 6500-7K since some things are not right.
'68 GT 390 hardtop, auto, red with black deluxe woodgrain interior, motor has 65K on it, rebuilt at 55K, very nice shape, asking $12K I think.
Obviously the '67 coupe would leave me the most $$ left over in the end but it is prob. the least optioned of the 3. Also, if anyone else knows of any other classic '67/68's for sale b/t 7 and 14K, please let me know.
Thanks for any imput,
Mike
