Found a guy who lives about 75 miles from me who wants to straight up trade his 5 star pony rims for a set of the old 10 hole rims like the ones on my '90 5.0. I've been looking for a decent priced set, but they're all about $450-500. After all this bad luck with the '66 looks like things may have changed for the better.

Like you I always get a little nervous when someone offers me a deal,,be sharp and take advantage of them when they come

Make sure the rims are true. I bought a set of steel rims for my 68 and it turned out 2 of the 4 were shot. I doubt they can be repaired.

I saw an article in one of the mustang magazines M&F or MM where they did a rebuild of a couple '68 wheels.

I also sold some old Magnum 500's to a guy who rebuilds them about a year ago.
