CNN stated that gasoline prices may increase to $1.49 (average price) per gallon this summer. This comes as a shocker because here in southern Orange County in southern CA, we have been paying $1.65 for a long time. I bought some the other day for $1.87.
I just want to know how badly the gas companies are screwing us socalers. Just another benefit for the great privilege of living in california (I can't complain too much because the weather is much nicer than the rest of you all had to deal with this year).

Here in Michigan, I just paid $1.65 for reg. it is up from a month ago, we had it down to $1.32. I can't wait untill Summer when I need to put premium in the 65, I'm sure it will be over $2.00.

I'm paying about $1.75 for the good stuff up here in the Hillsboro, Oregon area. Prices are a little cheaper around the Gresham area, but it's a bit of a drive.

Really ticks me off....Paid $1.39 on Monday. Had to refuel on Wednesday and the price was $1.56....

BOY! When these shortages come, they sure come along fast.....

I figure the increase has nothing to do with the price of crude at all, it's simply a profit issue for the industry as a whole. Just raise the prices because we all know that there will be more people out driving in the nice warm weather.

Hmmmm, Maybe I should charge more for Home Theaters in the winter months, since more people will be home watching TV when it's cold outside?......Sure....lol

Dang! Just when I got used to being "strange", I became a "newbie", then a "tire-kicker". Now I'm a "beginner"?.....hmmmmmm...where do I start?

Irwin;

That would explain how few cars were on the road in Amsterdam three weeks ago when I was there. Just had to be mindfull of all the bikes, have never seen a rush hour like that, totally amazing to someone from the west coast of Canada where you are lucky if you see any bicycles on the road.
