Well,
Still trying to get the idle sorted out on the 302. My dad checked the vacuum last night and it was about 8-10 at idle. This seems a little low to me. Should this be expected with a cam with the following specs?
cam lift .291, valve lift .467, dur. 280, .050 dur. 224, and lobe center is 108
My dad said that it jupmed around between 8-10 too is this normal?

I'm going to check for leaks this evening too and check the fuel pressure.

That vacuum is probably about right for that cam. You have a pretty tight lobe center and that means more overlap. More overlap means less vacuum......Stock lobe centers are about 114 degrees with 204 to 208 degrees duration at .050...

That probably idles pretty nicely too :)
