A frame? Are you talking about the underside rails that appear to be a frame? Actually, the car is a unibody structure, where almost everything is welded together. The unibody structure of a convertible is beefed up relative to a coupe/fastback, and it is generally not recommended to swap unibodies, due to expense, welding, etc. Much better to start with a better 'vert unibody and transfer your stuff over.

The valve covers on my engine are the same left and right. They both have an opening for a twist in cap (left cover opening at front, right cover opening at back).

Getting ready to install a 4R70W in my 66 coupe. I am installing a new Champion three row radiator, user the wider radiator for the 67-70. Do I also need a separate transmission cooler in addtion to the radiator?
