Ok after I scratched the damn dash which I just resprayed this morning I figued how to install the ignition bezel and switch from behine, I has been 2 years so I forgot how to do all this, now I want to put the cylinder in,

do I need to have the key in and which way do I turn it.

Oh yeah On the light switch Like Istated earlier I hate to force something but the shaft and knob part isnt installed yet, do I have to turn it a certtain way to lock it in ??

Yes the key needs to be in. Rotate it to the ACC position, then insert a paperclip, in the hole on the front of the bezel, then turn counter clockwise, the key should be 90% from the off position, as you are looking at it. The whole assembly should slide in. I just replaced mine, was easy...
