Anyone done it this way? My '67 is completely finished, all new floors and such and on the road. When it was rebuilt they did not install a torque box on the drivers side. I will be doing so now. I REALLY do not want to remove the fender for all kids of good reasons, and am thinking I can install the torque box without removing the fender. I will use a welders blanket to protect the fender from heat during close welding, such as when attaching the torque box to the front of the rocker panel. Thoughts?
