Have export brace. Removed originals, but left bracket. Now that I am knee deep in the resto, I cut out the brackets. They are welding practice material now. I went to the local hardware store and purchased some meano stainless bolts for the brace to firewall mount. No problem installing it.

Since you've changed all the arrangements up front, you probably should get a front end alignment.
