I am new to the forum, hope this is posted in the right place.
I am a 20 year old college student, next summer I plan on buying a 1965-69 coupe, hopefully. Of course my parents think it is a horrible idea, I disagree. I was just curious how high is car insurance on an old coupe. I would only drive it for three months a year? Just wondering.
Thanks

You might be able to use Hagerty Insurance. They will only approve you If you have another car as your daily driver and use the mustang for occasional use. They are very cheap. My 66 'vert is less than $300 per year. www.hagerty.com
good luck with the car.

I am insured thru GEICO, though I don't have a specific policy for my car, it isn't in the best looking condition now anyway. I have been paying $35 a month, with liability only. The price hasn't changed in the last 4 years, and I am 24 now, and had 3 accidents on my record back then. :p I figure once the car is straight and painted, I will spring for full coverage.
