I am getting ready to send in my application to Hagerty Insurance. Before I hit the send button I'd be interested to hear of anyone have anything to say about them as far as service or claims?
The price definitely is good but I have been screwed by State Farm and don't want to worry about my stang.
Thanks in advance, this forum is the best thing since sliced bread.

I'd be interested in what kind of trouble you had with SF? I have all my vehicles insured through
them, and would like to know.

Thanks

My family and I were in a hit and run in Detroit back in 99. Dude slammed us rolled our van and took off on foot. Here is the car we were in http://141.217.51.29/dave/crash His car was unregistered and had no vin number to speak of so he is off scott free. Except for my wife we got off pretty well injury wise, but she has a bad neck from the accident. SF basically let us go to the chiro for a year, but when the new deductible year started they cut her off. They sent her to an "evaluator" who just rubber stamped her ass out of there. We bitched long and hard and got her re-evaluted with a real doctor and now they are footing the bill to get more testing done, MRI is next week. I guess the point is that we really had to complain to get them to listen. We have both been insured through this company since 1977, I feel like they owe us more than that.

Dang man. Glad to hear that for the most part you and your family are okay. I have not had
(thank God) the kind of accident you speak of. I would have never guessed that it would be
such a chore to get continuing support after a accident of this magnitude.

I fear however, that most, if not all insurance companies will react similarly. Wrong, Yes. But
you know most of them are in the business to make money first, serve the cutomers second.

I have my 66 vert, a 99 Durango, and a 00 300M, and my house insured with them, and
will be posing your dilema to my agent when the opportuinty presents itself. The answer should
be interesting.

Thanks for sharing, and be well.

I've had no claims experience with Haggerty, but a few pleasant conversations regarding the coupe I have in resto.
They've been helpful and understanding. I' ve upped the value of the coupe after significant changes with no problem.
