Hi Guys,

Nearing the end of making a parts list for our '68 cruiser (302/AOD) and am looking for advice on intakes. So far we have decided on:

170 TFS heads

Custom Hyd RollerCam (1500-6000 range)

1.6 Roller Rockers

Long Tube HDRS

2400-2600 Stall Converter

3.90-4.10 R/P (AOD trans already installed)

Currently Has a 650 Holley

Right now it has a knock off air gap type intake (no markings at all),I'm assuming that it is an imported Ebay special. Wondering what the best set up for an intake would be. The cam will be all done by 6000 so I want something that will be matched for the 1500-6000 range the motor will be in. Any advice??

Thanks!!

It might be a knock off the Edelbrock rpm air gap, you could look at the two and compare them. The rpm air gap is a good intake, and they're not cheap either.

Humm......there is a used polished for sale locally I've been told about. Which one is better for building torque Edel or the Steaalth??
