I used Krylon semigloss black (1813? check on previous posts) to rattlecan my engine bay. I purchase some semigloss black from National Parts depot for the dashboard and door posts. I did that, so I could polish the dash. Lacquer is easy to work with, goes on easy although it is scratchprone.
