Hi, I got a 67FB, it's been stored outdoors since '83.
So you can imagine what the crome loks like, it's been in CA so the exterior is good but the interior chrome is all pitted and it looks like seashells been living in there, anyway my rear vent that goes to the upper side scoops have a ribbed crome panel riveted to the fiber glass panel. Can anyone here tell me the best way to remove them? i got to send them for re-chroming. If I grind the rivets off is there enough material to drill and tap the little posts or maybe poprivet it back after? Also while I'm at it,,does anyone have experience with rechroming the door vent window frames?
Any help will be appreciated
