I just received a PM asking me for a sex chat. I was under the impression that this forum only allows registered members to send PMs, but if the new setup is now the wild west like the old Craigslist then I won't be around anymore. I see plenty of hustlers and harlots in my daily work ; don't need to have this caca here. 馃槨

Same here. My wife has also started getting the crap on her phone last night from Facebook and a few other sites we believe. Irritating to say the least...

Haven't gotten that one here yet. But as for Craigslist the spammers have given up on it right along with everyone else. You can put stuff on Craigslist now and you won't get any offers for your item not even unreasonable ones and I haven't had a spam message from there in a very long time. Course here it's hard to sell on craigslist as no one has any cash to spend here in Fort Worth.

Hmmmm.....should I be worried or relieved that this worn out 60 year old didn't get an invite from some sexy young thing?

The rules we had implemented over the years about being a member for a certain amount of time before being able to post ads or PM people went out the window with the last forum update. When I asked/complained/bi%$hed about it and a couple of other things I was basically very politely told to go suck it by some insect person. The "admin" label under my name no longer has much meaning, my abilities (and those of the rest of the moderating team) have been much reduced.
But I'll go straight the red phone and tell them that the "zero post PM spammers" are back again and we'll see.

Something unrelated to this website (I think)...I got some spam at work today and the subject line was a password I used to use on some sites.

The email said they knew it was my password and were going to expose pics/video of me doing nasty stuff because they took control of my camera on my laptop and know I visit porn sites.

I know it's all BS (I put tape over my camera after all) and it's just an extortion scare tactic...but it's obvious that some site got hacked and they got my email and the password I had used with that site at one time from that hack.

Pretty sure there was a data breach at the company that owns this website...wonder if we're seeing the results of that breach?
