I ordered one from summit for my 69 without ac and received this one. The casing looks used to me but I'm guessing it's rebuilt. It came straight from Holley.
My original motor doesn't have the hole this one does on the housing. Kinda makes me worry. I don't want to return it since it took a month for me to receive this one.
My original motor still works but I just wanted to replace it.
What would you guys do?

Since you asked, I would go ahead and re-install the factory motor. Likely, it's a better part than whatever you got from Summit. As a data point, my 1970 Mach 1 had over 250,000 miles on it before I rebuilt it. The factory blower motor is still going strong. I simply cleaned and painted it.

That's what I was thinking about as well. Do you know any way we can service them? Like replacement bushings or bearings?
I'll look into it. If not, just a clean and paint like you said
